Pregnancy, hormone fluctuations and aging can cause breasts to sag. Although aging of the breast-tissue and skin is natural, there are some exercises and practices you can use to firm your breasts.
1.Strengthen-the-muscles-in-your-chest-with-weight-lifting. While your breasts themselves do not have muscles in them, toning the underlying muscles might still help them resist the pull of gravity. Try to do weight training at-least twice a week
Some exercises that can effectively lift-up and firm sagging breasts are– chest presses and pulls, arm raises, round-about push-ups, and dumbbell flyes.
2.Wear-a-well-fitted-sports-bra-during-exercise. During exercise your breasts may bounce between 4 to 15 cm. This strains connective tissue that attaches your breasts to your chest and the skin that covers your breast-tissue. A properly fitted sports-bra can hold your breasts in place, reduce the bouncing, and prevent the skin and ligaments from stretching
3.Sleep-on-your-back. If you favor one side while you sleep, you may find that the top breast sags and stretches more. By staying on your back, you can keep both breasts firmer longer
4.Don’t-allow-weight-fluctuations. Yo-yo dieting can lead to stretch marks and inelastic skin. Each time you gain-weight, your breasts may appear to sag more when you lose-it, because the skin has to stretch around extra fat tissue.
5.Ice-Massage. Ice massage is also considered very effective to regain firmness in sagging breasts and uplift them. The cold temperature will cause the tissue to contract, in turn making the breasts appear firmer and more lifted.
6.Olive-Oil. Massaging your breasts with olive oil is an excellent technique to firm sagging-breasts. Olive-oil is a rich source of antioxidants and fatty-acids that can reverse the damage caused by free radicals and prevent sagging-breasts. Plus, it will help improve the skin-tone and texture.
7.Aloe-Vera. Aloe-vera has natural skin-tightening properties that can help get rid of sagging-breasts. The antioxidants in aloe-vera prevent damage caused by free radicals and help firm sagging-breasts.
Apply aloe-vera gel onto your breasts and massage gently in a circular motion for 10 minutes. Allow it to sit for another 10 minutes and then wash it off with warm-water. Repeat this remedy 4 or 5 times a week to get effective results.
8.Pomegranate. Pomegranate is considered a wonderful anti-aging ingredient and can help prevent sagging breasts. Pomegranate seed oil is rich in phyto-nutrients that can lead to firm breasts.
• Make a paste of pomegranate peel and some warm mustard-oil. Use it to massage your breasts in a circular motion for 5 to 10 minutes daily before going to bed.
9.Don’t-be-afraid-to-breastfeed-your-baby. Not breastfeeding won’t prevent the sagging that comes with pregnancy. Your breasts sag as they get larger and heavier during pregnancy. This stretches the ligaments, leaving lasting sagging.[16]
• This sagging will happen regardless of whether you breastfeed and breastfeeding will not make it worse.
